Steven Lamont
Steve Lamont has been a Law Society accredited family law specialist for more than twenty years. He’s also an associate member of Certified Practicing Accountants Australia and is accredited with the Law Society as mediator. At the time this was written, his last eight family law mediations were all successfully resolved in relation to all issues.
Steve’s accounting qualification and stock exchange background mean he has a good understanding of complex financial, trust, company, superannuation and taxation issues. His mediation experience means he has a good understanding of what makes family law matters easier and what saves time and money.
Steve speaks regularly at conferences and seminars about family law and recent cases and has done so for twenty years. This means that his understanding of the way family law works in practice and of relevant cases is very helpful in negotiation and in the courtroom (if necessary).
